So I Took Off The Week Of Thanksgiving

Not from work, could you imagine! From my blog. I know big food holiday... Well sometimes you have to put things in the correct order. For me this past week has been 5 work days stuffed into 3 days. But I did it and I only had to work a few hours on one night. Needless to say our dinners were all from the freezer!

And Thanksgiving was an amazing, as always, meal at my sister's house. Antipasto, her delicious soup, and then the turkey, 2 kinds of stuffing, peas from their garden and Sweet Potato Stacks (they were my contribution to dinner). I did not go nuts with photos as I was enjoying my nieces and nephews. But trust me it was a wonderful dinner.

Black Friday, not really. I like to refer to it as Cookie Friday. Yup. I made Snow Balls, Jelly Bellies, Striped Cookies, a Mint Swirl Sugar Cookie and Cinnamon Sticks. I will be making more in a couple of weeks. Photos will be posted at some point. Dinner on Cookie Friday was Grand Appiza!

Saturday we made the trip up to Infinity Hall to see Ian Hunter. I was planning on having a nice healthy salad but then I saw the Autumn Risotto on the menu. Not bad, not bad at all. And the show was fantastic!

Hopefully I can stay on top of the blog for the month of December. Fingers crossed!
