And tonight Archie thought he could sit at the table with us...
This was the question that was asked by my mother every day when we spoke. We both enjoyed talking about food. She passed away in 2006. I miss someone asking that question. So this is where I will tell whomever what I am making for dinner.

Giambotte
This is a good one. I loved when my mom made this. Basically it is a pan of roasted meat, potatoes and carrots. I mixed the ribs, chicken breasts, carrots and potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, fresh thyme and oregano. Put them in a roasting pan and added some white wine. Covered it and baked for 30 minutes at 425 degrees. I uncovered the pan added the hot dogs and baked for another 30 minutes. We had some Italian bread and a bottle of Crane Lake Shiraz. This was a very nice wine for the meal. Tonight's dinner tasted as good as I remember it.
