On a Tuesday night!! Yes! This is an under 30-minute meal. Delicious! I found the recipe on the All Recipes site. Rave reviews from the chorus. And easy as pie.
Your cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of your steaks. Serve with noodles and a nice bottle of red wine.
Steak Marinara
Ingredients-
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 top sirloin steaks, not too thick
1 1/2 cup chunky pasta sauce
1/4 cup red wine
salt and pepper
Method-
Salt and pepper both sides of the steaks.
Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and saute until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the steak, turning so that all sides get browned, about 5 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce, red wine. Reduce heat to low for 5 minutes, or until the steak is cooked through.

Because it is Wednesday
A bottle of wine. Why? Because it is Wednesday. And because Chris grilled the first steaks of the grilling season. Amazing steaks. I had mine with just salt and pepper while he coated his with A-1 Steak sauce.
Oh these were delicious. I have been wanting a steak for so long. I love vegetables but something about a grilled steak. Yum. And they were cooked perfectly!!!! Thank you Chris.
My contribution to dinner? Baked Macaroni that I had in the freezer. Yeah that was pretty darn good too! Happy Wednesday!

Grilled Steak and Radishes with Black Pepper Butter
Right out of the new Bon Appetit! Grilled Steak and Radishes with Black Pepper Butter. Okay my favorite part was the radishes. I just love them grilled. I also made a Shaved Zucchini Salad. It was a perfect match for the meat and radishes. As much as I liked this steak recipe I think I still like the dry rub better!
And for dessert I picked up something new at the store. Roba Dolce Ocean Spray Lemon Blueberry Sorbet. I love the lemon blueberry combination. Heck I made Lemon Blueberry Scones today for tomorrow's breakfast! This sorbet is wonderful. It is 110 calories for half a cup so I did not eat the whole carton but I do believe I could have! I also picked up the Hazelnut Truffle Gelato (they were on sale 2 for $6), but I have not tried that on yet... stay tuned...
