Hey that's my name! If you are a reader of this blog you can agree that if it is Friday it will be pasta and it will have zucchini in it. I had one zucchini in the fridge. So I sliced it and sliced an onion and chopped up what might be the last of the tomatoes from my dad's garden. I sauteed everything in olive oil and butter. Then I added a jar, yes I typed the word "jar", to the pan of vegetables. Wolfgang Puck Vodka Sauce to be exact.
I put Cheese Ravioli and a little bit of gnocchi in to a pot of boiling water. I added the pastas to the sauce and finished cooking it.
It was just good. The consistency of the sauce was nice and the added vegetables gave it nice extra layer of flavor. This was not your ordinary pasta with Vodka Sauce!

A gourmet meal! sounds fabulous!
This reminded me of what my mom use to do. She would take a jar of sauce and "doctor it up!"
