We had an additional Thanksgiving feast this week.
We started with some Roasted Walnuts, recipe from Mark Bittman.
And you can not eat just one.

This was the question that was asked by my mother every day when we spoke. We both enjoyed talking about food. She passed away in 2006. I miss someone asking that question. So this is where I will tell whomever what I am making for dinner.

Your Thanksgiving sounds simple and beautiful. Plenty of great food without a lot of complicated fussiness, Did I mention nice wine too?
