Dinner at L'Orcio

Amazing dinner.
I should elaborate a little. We ate at L'Orcio tonight. My sister and brother-in-law have eaten there before but it was our first time.

The evening started of nicely. We found a parking space right in front. We were seated upstairs in a nice airy room. (The hostess had on very nice black boots, yes I complimented her on them!)

We started off with drinks. My sister and I both drink Stoly gimlets. At L'Orcio they add Agave Nectar along with the lime juice. Nice touch.

We ordered appetizers for the table. Antipasto Dell'Orcio which consisted of Prosciutto di Parma, Wild Boar Salami (can I get more of that), Pecorino cheese, Ricotta honey walnut spread (loved it) & Homemade Italian flatbread.
I wanted to try the Sardine Ripiene, Pan fried stuffed sardines, mixed salad, lemon vinaigrette. Everyone tried a taste but I was able to have most of the plate myself.

For dinner my sister and I both had the Ravioli Di Rapine, handmade sausage and broccoli rabe ravioli, creamy roasted garlic sauce and Pecorino Romano. The broccoli rabe added a nice taste. Chris and Ralph both had the Pappardelle al Ragu' Di Cingiale. I had a taste some and love it. Of course I do love the homemade noodles.

For dessert Chris and I shared a Hazelnut Gelato, yum and my sister had the Lemon Tart, very good too.

The wine was Selvapiana Petrognano Pomino 2006. Good choice.

Would we go back? Yes definitely! I can't wait.
